Deleting your Demesne account

You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app, in three taps. No forms, no phone calls, no persuasion screen.

In the app

1. Open the You tab.
2. Tap Privacy Centre.
3. Tap Delete account, and confirm.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email privacy@demesne.club from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We verify it is you, then process the deletion the same way. We reply within 48 hours.

What happens next

• A 7-day grace period begins. Your profile disappears from every club directory immediately. Sign in during those 7 days to cancel the deletion.
• Then everything goes. Your profile, photo, interest tags, social links, introduction requests, and your conversations — including your message bodies on the other side — are permanently deleted. Push tokens and devices are removed. Copies in encrypted backups expire within 35 days.
• What remains. Security audit entries required for legal and safety purposes are kept in pseudonymised form — they no longer identify you. Anonymous occupancy counts contain no personal data and are unaffected.
• Presence. Live presence is never stored in the first place; it expires within minutes of your leaving the club, deletion or not.

Before you go

If you want a copy of your data, request it first: You → Privacy Centre → Export my data. Once deletion completes, there is nothing left to export.

Deleting your Demesne account does not affect your membership of your club itself — only your presence on Demesne.
